He’s Argentinian like Messi. He plays with swag on the wing for Manchester United like Ronaldo. Alejandro Garnacho has a lot going for him. Aside from his recent ankle injury, Garnacho’s present and future are a bright one.
The 18 year-old already had a lot of eyes on him playing for United’s academy. In the FA Youth Cup v Everton , he showcased blazing speed on a 60 yard run and casually slid the ball past the keeper. After leading his team to an FA Youth Cup championship he was called up to the senior squad. Back in November, he was an influential substitute against Aston Villa with two assists and also scoring the game winner v Fulham to help continue the Red Devil’s resurgence.
Garnacho has shown plenty of promise at this young age. Getting playing time at the highest level for club and now getting called up for the senior World Cup winning Argentina squad. It will be interesting to see him take the torch from two of the greatest players in the world on two separate fronts.
Garnacho has some quality rookie cards out. Along with his initial Topps Now RC, he is showcased in 22-23 Deco, 22-23 EPL Revolution, and most notably in the newly released 22-23 Prizm EPL!!!
